About the role
Pacera is a SaaS platform built for the Office of the CFO, providing best-in-class Consolidation, Month End Close, and FP&A solutions. As an Implementation Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering Pacera's platform to clients — guiding them through implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization to ensure they realize the full value of the solution.
This is a hybrid, client-facing role for a mid-level consultant who is equally comfortable diving into technical implementation work and building strong advisory relationships with finance stakeholders. You'll act as a trusted partner to clients throughout their journey with Pacera, translating complex finance processes into effective platform configurations.
Initially, your focus will be on the Aico Platform, which delivers month end close capabilities to our customers.
What you will do
Lead end-to-end implementation of the Aico by Pacera platform for new and existing clients, from requirements gathering through go-live
Configure and customise the platform to meet client-specific Month End Close requirements
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during implementation, providing advisory guidance on best practices and process design
Translate client business and finance requirements into technical configurations and workflows
Build and manage integrations between Aico by Pacera and client source systems (ERP, and other finance systems)
Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues raised during implementation and post-go-live
Deliver training and enablement sessions to client teams to support platform adoption
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to feedback client requirements and identify platform improvements
Manage multiple client implementations concurrently, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
Document configurations, processes, and best practices for internal and client reference
What we’re looking for
3-5 years of experience in consulting, implementation, or technical role within the finance/CFO software space
Nice to have hands-on experience with relevant finance automation platforms (e.g. Blackline, Trintech, Anaplan, BrightAnalytics, OneStream, or similar)
Strong understanding of finance processes, particularly Consolidation, Month End Close, and/or FP&A
Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with finance stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience working with integrations and data flows between finance systems
Bachelor's degree and/or accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional client-facing sessions
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for improving client finance processes
